About these terms

CrawlDude is made by Kidkie Tech AB, Sweden. By downloading or using the CrawlDude app or this website, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.

Licence

The CrawlDude app is free to use, and released under the MIT licence. The licence text, including its own warranty disclaimer, comes with the app.

No warranty

The app and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, availability and non-infringement.

Crawl results, issues, scores and recommendations are automated and may be incomplete or wrong. They are guidance, not professional advice, and they don't guarantee any search ranking or other result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kidkie Tech AB and its owners, employees and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profit, business or goodwill, arising from or related to the use of, or inability to use, the app or the website. This applies however the damage arises, including from crawls you run, updates, errors or interruptions, and even if we were told such damage was possible.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Your responsibilities

• Only crawl websites you own or have permission to crawl, and follow their terms of use, robots.txt and applicable law.
• Set a sensible speed. Crawling too fast can slow down or overload a website, and its owner may block you. You are responsible for the load your crawls cause and for any consequences, including costs or claims from website owners.
• Don't use CrawlDude to collect personal data unlawfully, to break into systems, or for any other illegal purpose.
• Data you collect with CrawlDude is yours, and you are responsible for how you store and use it.

Third parties

Downloads and updates are delivered through GitHub. Links to other websites, and comparisons with other products, are provided for information; we aren't responsible for third-party sites or services. Product names are trademarks of their owners.

Changes

We may change the app, these terms or the website at any time. The current terms are always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes are settled by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
