# CrawlDude

> CrawlDude is a free desktop SEO crawler for macOS and Windows (Linux coming soon). It crawls a website from your computer and lists technical SEO issues such as broken links, redirect chains, missing titles and orphan pages. There is no licence key, no URL limit and no account.

Key facts:

- Price: free, with no URL cap, trial or paid tier.
- Platforms: macOS 11 or later (separate installers for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs) and Windows 10 or later, 64-bit. Linux is planned.
- Privacy: crawls run and are stored on the user's computer. Nothing is uploaded.
- Licence: free, and it stays free. Built on open-source software; its own code may be open-sourced later.
- JavaScript rendering: optional, per project. Off by default; CrawlDude then reads the HTML the server sends.
